The Last Big Thing

Great article in this week's Onion A.V. Club on bands from the last fifteen years that were supposed to be on the verge of superstardom and flamed out, and what's become of them.

I like that it's paired with an article on bands that are supposed to be the next big thing now.

This is sort of different from the typical "where are they now" file, because these are artists who didn't quite break through, but were expected to.
