Nine Years And Change

At some point tonight, I realized that I saw Garbage at Metro nearly nine years ago to the day. I was a bit critical of that one, but nearly a decade as a band makes a world of difference. We'll see if I can muster a full review later, but the short version is just wow. Not necessarily top ten shows ever wow, but it's not out of the question.

Which is in no way meant to disparage Ben Folds, who put on an excellent and thoroughly entertaining show on Tuesday night, but Shirley Manson has a different kind of presence, to put it mildly.
