Still Not Getting It

I was going to bitch about this article on Wired that takes the simplistic technophile argument that the music industry must adopt file sharing because the technology is cool and ubiquitous, but Coolfer beat me to the punch.

For the umpteenth time, yes, there needs to be a business model less antagonistic towards online distribution. But simply saying tech trumps copyright because it can is not the answer. I'm not even going to pretend I'm still writing a book on this, so I won't say this is the kind of thing I would be discussing in depth.
