Starting to detect a pattern yet? The axis of a lot of my listening at this particular point in time was an album on Passport Jazz called The Players, which featured Steve Smith, Scott Henderson, T Lavitz and Jeff Berlin. There's a definite sense of the artists and albums on this tape and the previous one radiating from that point of origin.
