Chart Watch

Tool almost went gold in a week, doubling up Pearl Jam's #2 showing. Two comments: First, what is this, 1995? Tool and Pearl Jam topping the charts? Second, on a similar note, when was the last time two bona fide "modern" rock bands held down the top two spots on the album chart? Could an onslaught of "rock is back" articles be far behind?
