list.in.to.chicago this week: 10.30.2006

Okay, I'm running way behind today, so while we might not get the four-word descriptions, I'll try to stick to under ten.

Pick of the week
I'm intrigued by Twilight Singers (Wednesday and Thursday, Double Door) and Alejandro Escovedo (Friday, Park West) is a sure thing.

I'm not going to ruminate on the multiple meanings of Diver playing with Nice Peter on Saturday night at Cubby Bear.

Recap
The questions at Vaughan's were pretty good. I expected Culture Club, dug REM, and was surprised at how well Living Colour's "Which Way To America?" worked.
