I'm not just gratuitously dumping on this band because it's the brother of a guy in a "new prog" band that I categorically don't get.

No, my problem is that, if you're going to be a prog band called 3, why not go all the way and call the album To The Power Of Three while you're at it?

And yes, I have it on vinyl. You shouldn't be surprised by that.
