The real news is not that 80s prog-rock supergroup Asia is releasing a new album. The news is that album's title will neither begin nor end with the letter 'a'. Granted, I haven't been paying attention to the band's low-altitude trajectory prior to the full reunion, but I think they released one live album that didn't follow that pattern.
If I weren't going to see The Mars Volta that same night, I would totally be adding these guys to my nostalgia concert tour this summer. Already on that dance card are Rush, Yes and probably King Crimson (with Porcupine Tree's Gavin Harrison as the second drummer!). Good god, I feel like I'm sixteen years old again.
