Burying The Lede?

While the continuing saga of the Uptown Theatre is pretty interesting in its own right, Jim DeRogatis' has been owning this story for a long, long time for the Sun-Times, so I'm really curious about the David Roeder byline.

And while Roeder does a good job with the piece, I'm sure Jim would have poured cold water on Alderman Smith's laughable notion that Jam Productions and Live Nation might form a partnership on the venue. Suffice it to say, I'll be very surprised if that comes to pass, and I suspect DeRo will as well.
