It's good to see that there are others out there who don't get the deafening hype over Merriweather Post Pavilion from Animal Collective. I don't just think it's overrated, I think it's actively bad, but at this point, I'll take whatever rebellion against critical groupthink that I can.

One more feather in the cap of Time Out Chicago's music staff, of whom I have sung the praises many times before. Somebody needs to get them a wider platform to combat the dominance of Kot and DeRogatis.
