Granted, the success of iTunes came using a variation on a business model that had existed for years, but I can't help but thinking I've heard this idea that "music will exist in the clouds" before. While it could happen, I suspect we need ubiquitous high-speed wireless before it could really work.
Also, while we're talking about this mythical celestial jukebox, I want it to be able to transfer between devices, so I can be listening to music on my personal device, then simply switch it over to my car or to my home stereo seamlessly when I get to either of them.
