Sony has agreed to make its back catalog available on eMusic. Post-iTunes and post-Amazon, this isn't quite as big a deal as it would have been five or six years ago, but it still seems significant. There has been such historical intransigence between eMusic and the major labels that this comes across as a breakthough in Middle East peace on some level.
