Northwest Side Qualifying

I happened to drive up Milwaukee last night, and noticed that the Congress Theater was showing a couple of World Cup Qualifiers on a big screen, a la Brew & View. I think they had one Central American and one South American match.

Further up the street, there was a Cuban restaurant boasting some eight different games from this hemisphere.

I'm become so used to the Euro-centric coverage of the Irish and English bars, that it was really refreshing to see this other part of the soccer universe manifesting itself in Chicago. The Congress Theater thing was just cool. Had I known about it, I would have totally gone and checked it out.
