Forever Young

There will be a time when I truly feel really old, and that time is when nearly all professional athletes -- at least those in the big five sports in the U.S. -- are younger than I am. Fortunately, the Metrostars continue to keep that from happening.

I like how there's no mention of Djorkaeff's age anywhere in the press release. The sidebar has his birthdate, but that's it.

This should be interesting to watch. Metro has a horrid track record with aging internationals. Coach Bob Bradley, on the other hand, has done pretty well with them. Time will tell.

And I want some part of the Empire Supporters Club to start calling themselves "the Djork squad." Please?
