Just got one of the weekly preview e-mails from MLS HQ, and Ivan Guerrero is listed as "questionable." On the one hand, this is good news, as he looked like he was in enough pain last week to have a severe ankle sprain, one that would require anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks for recovery.
On the other hand, if Guerrero isn't 100%, and Juan Carlos Osorio plays him anyway, I'm concerned that he won't get forward into the attack, and if we field another 7-0-3 formation against Columbus, we're not going to score any goals.
One of the important things about the mini-resurgence we saw from the club right after Blanco's arrival is that we were getting good play on the wings. I don't think Osorio fears Columbus' attack as much as New York's, so reverting to three in the back may help, but we still need more support for Blanco and the forwards.
