Look Out Below

While all the focus has been on staying ahead of Columbus and Colorado -- an effort aided by both of those teams looking like crap down the stretch -- an interesting development is brewing in the Major League Soccer playoff race.

The Los Angeles Galaxy are only six points behind the Chicago Fire, with a game in hand. And if L.A. wins that game in hand, it's entirely possible that the final playoff spot will come down to the last game of the season between the Galaxy and the Fire at Toyota Park. And David Beckham might be healthy and back in the lineup for a showdown with Cuauhtemoc Blanco.

Hold on tight.
