Seriously, can this guy ever let a bad result go by without blaming the refs? From yesterday's Boston Herald, the New England manager was quoted as whining about how the Fire "were aggressive early on and there were a lot of calls let go.”
I don't think Nicol will get fined this time, but sooner or later, MLS is just going to take an automatic deduction from his paycheck. Give it a freakin' rest, man.
And Luis Arroyave seems to disagree with my assessment of Chad Barrett's game, in that he thought the forward struggled quite a bit in the first half. Apparently Chad Barrett does, too. Didn't seem so bad from where I was watching, but I'll have to give it another look.
