Okay, so a quick read of Buzz Carrick's NCAA semifinals rundown makes me think that the Fire should set their sights on Wake Forest's Marcus Tracy, Jr. (if he decides to forgo his senior year) and Virginia Tech's Marcus Reed. Xavier Balc from Ohio State might be a good fit, too, but he's already pretty highly regarded from what I can tell and might not be available with the seventh pick. Geoff Marsh might be a right-sided midfield option if he comes out early, too.
Ives thinks that, after the final, Tracy might get invited to the combine, and Balc might have diminished his prospects a bit, the latter of which may be good for the Fire.
Anyway, that makes two big strikers and two right-sided midfielders on my radar so far, and by "on my radar" I mean "that I just read about for the first time this morning."
