The "coach's picks" for the All-Star Game have been announced, and no additional Fire players were added, despite defenders Gonzalo Segares and Bakary Soumare being the fourth and fifth-highest vote-getters in the balloting (with Segares getting the nod from nearly every writer I've seen speculate on the subject), and despite Jon Busch's great comeback season. The political cover is going to be that Nicol went with a Toronto FC defender instead of Sega or Baky, and a Canadian goalkeeper in Pat Onstad over Busch, but we all know the real reason is that he's a dick and hates the Fire. I'm sure he'll deliberately try to get Blanco injured in the course of the match as well.
