This means war. Junkyard war.

Okay, maybe I'm more amused by this than the situation actually warrants, but "Junkyard Wars" on The Discovery Channel is advertising on Comedy Central, home of "Battlebots." I don't really know what to make of this cutthroat move, but damn, that's crazy. I'm not totally sure if Comedy Central is fully in control of the TV advertising on different cable systems, but I wouldn't put it past someone in advertising to sacrifice the long-term benefits of, oh, I don't know, VIEWERS, for the short-term gain of making their sales numbers for the quarter. Salespeople tend to be funny that way, and lord knows the advertising market is bad enough right now to make it look like a halfway decent idea. To someone who only halfway has a brain, anyway.

Wow, bashing salespeople is fun. Who knew?

I'm going to ignore most of the political repercussions of that advertising campaign and focus on that odd bird who wears a skirt over her pants.

What's the story with that?
