I was once again forcibly reminded of the key reason I like The Sopranos so much. Last week, Tony confessed to not finishing his Seton Hall college education. As it happens, he has this in common with the man responsible for half of my DNA.
Elsewhere in TV land, I wonder if the new profanity guidelines kicking around the government went into effect before Tuesday's episode of The Shield?
And finally, your Daily fix. The interview with Wynton Marsalis was pretty effing cool, and without the glasses and mustache, there's a much stronger resemblence between him and Branford. I might quibble with the notion that even the worst musician gets laid more than the best comedian, but to be fair, they're talking about musicians and comedians with some level of national prominence. What was really cool last week was Jon Stewart's unabashed admiration for Richard Clarke's 9/11 testimony. Any time you tell an audience consisting largely of pot-smoking college students to go find a copy of Senate committee testimony, you're going to score points in my book for being on the level.
