Where Have I Known You Before?

Okay, in this week's installment of "hey, I recognize that guy," we've got a late entry from the Sci-Fi Channel's run of Firefly, where we saw The Shield's Benito Martinez in the "Our Mrs. Reynolds" episode. The short-lived-but-coming-to-a-theater-near-you series seems to have a familiar face or two every week, and this time around, it was reluctant kidnapper Rick (Daniel Bess) from 24 throwing himself in front of a shotgun blast in "Jaynestown."

Also in the Friday Sci-Fi lineup this past week were the infamous Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davis) from The X-Files, along with Tony Todd, who appeared as Augustus Cole in the "Sleepless" episode from the same series. Both actors resurfaced in Stargate SG-1's "Babylon" episode, which shouldn't be all that surprising since both series were and are shot in Vancouver, at least for a while in the X-Files' case. A quick look at the IMDB shows both characters returning to SG1 in the future, along with the holographic doctor (Robert Picardo) from Star Trek: Voyager.
