Expunge

NP: Boy Kill Boy, Civilian

Sometimes it's fascinating to watch the human body in action, and given the massive head cold that descended upon me yesterday, there's really nothing else my attention could be focused upon right now. I could feel my body craving more fuel -- feed a cold -- in order to crank up its defense mechanism and do its best to rid itself of the virus.

The congestion lifted a bit before I went to sleep, but I found myself waking up every hour or so through the night. Still got more sleep than the previous night, so I'll take that as a win. Right now, it feels like the fog may be lifting, but I'm still kinda achy, so it's possible the cold has just relocated.

This may or may not afford me the opportunity to get some stuff done around the apartment, but I'm just as likely to lie prone on the couch with the intravenous chicken soup tube.
